Island is at the most northern tip of Carteret County. It extends into
the Pamlico Sound and the Core Sound. Visiting Cedar Island is an
adventure in itself but offers incredible waterfowl hunting that is
worth the trek. Our guides here offer a long time tradition of hunting
divers, especially Redheads and Bluebills from their open water
blinds. Pintails love to represent the puddlers here and Brant always
make a showing each year. Hunting Cedar Island is an awesome adventure
due to the remoteness and the enthusiasm of the guides and of course
the abundance of waterfowl.
